Job Purpose
Responsible for assigning, executing, and supervising the proper accomplishment of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance programs carried out in the systems, machinery, and equipment of the processes under its responsibility, ensuring availability, improving efficiency and quality of the operational service provided in the maintenance section while maintaining CEER's Manufacturing Operations Divisions’ standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the Maintenance Team by providing guidance, mentor, and support to ensure the team's performance complies with departmental and CEER objectives.
- Lead, guide, and oversee the Maintenance Team activities in the maintenance while ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures, safety regulations, and production objectives.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to Maintenance Team members with their individual skills, abilities, expertise, and the specific requirements of the production needs.
- Addresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to Maintenance Manager.
- Lead by example.
- Plan, execute and report all activities related to Maintenance.
- Consider production requirements, priorities, budget, and maintenance KPI’s. when scheduling maintenance.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain 5S in work areas.
- Assign manpower, material, and equipment resources wisely to ensure efficient utilization of resources to maintain efficient operations.
- Leads, develop and implementation of the maintenance strategies, plans, and schedules in order to increase the reliability and availability of equipment.
- Establishing protocols for preventive maintenance procedures, predictive maintenance methodologies, creating & planning inspection schedules.
- Establish and plan spares for the operations line and equipment and coordinate repair activities for the spares replaced on/in the operations area.
- Use data-driven methodologies to monitor the performance of the equipment, determine potential problems, and take proactive corrective action to avoid breakdowns and reduce downtime.
- React to equipment alarms, and messages.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical issues, breakdowns, and malfunctions in equipment and coordinate repair activities to the prompt and efficient restoration of equipment operation.
- Conduct equipment failures analysis, with the aim of identifying core issues and use problem-solving skills to avoid recurrence of problems and ensure to implement permanent solutions in the equipment and coordinate horizontal deployments of the actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to oversee spare parts inventory, ensuring availability and support maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Prepare personal development plans for Maintenance Team members and develop training material and conduct and coordinate training sessions in areas related to new equipment, technologies, and maintenance best practices to ensure that the team members are performing their roles effectively.
- Empower the knowledge sharing culture for the development of the team and organization.
- Team member evaluation, and based on the results to set the action plan for improvement for Training, rotation or having special skills in different area.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
- Represent CEER and protect its interests in various interactions and engagements and foster positive relationships and promote collaboration with external entities such as clients, partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to advance CEER's goals and objectives.
- Ensure definition and deployment of the necessary policies, processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance.
- Ensure that all Maintenance reports, performance and KPI are prepared and updated in a timely and accurate manner and meet CEER’s and department requirements, policies, and standards.
- Maintain organized records of Maintenance related activities.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
Education & Certificates
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any related field.
Experience
- Minimum relevant experience of 4 years in a similar field.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Computer proficiency – email, Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP, and MES required.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to update standard work forms.
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening.
- Teamwork skills are mandatory.
- Reaction capacity and ability to solve unforeseen events.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics and manuals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Maintenance Management Systems experience is a must.
