Operator, Manufacturing Operations
Job Purpose:
To operate and monitor machinery, tools, and equipment by established procedures and quality
standards to ensure efficient production.
Key Functional Responsibilities:
· Operate machinery, equipment, and tools according to Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) to complete assigned production tasks efficiently and accurately.
· Perform inspections, identify defects, and take corrective actions to maintain product
quality.
· Adhere to safety protocols, maintain accurate production records, and contribute to a
clean, organized, and safe working environment while collaborating with team members
to achieve production goals.
· Inspect components, parts, and finished products at various stages of production to
ensure they meet quality standards, identifying defects and taking corrective actions as
necessary.
· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, tools, and workstations to
ensure proper functioning and a safe working environment.
· Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective
equipment (PPE) and adherence to hazardous material handling guidelines.
· Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities, defects, downtime,
and quality inspections, to support continuous improvement efforts.
Education:
• Diploma or High School in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or industrial operations or equivalent.
Experience:
0-2 years of relevant experience in a relevant field.
