Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for inspecting, reworking defective or non-conforming sheet metal stamped parts, especially skin components, to meet quality standards and requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions. 

Key Functional Responsibilities: 

  • Examine/inspect incoming stamped parts from the press line operation for defects, damage, or non-conformities. 

  • To identify and check parts with minor dent marks due to mishandling/transportation of the part,  bur etc. and rework as per quality standard. 

  • Determine the necessary rework operations to correct defects or damages. 

  • To maintain good housekeeping / 5S activities around work.  

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to hazardous material handling guidelines.  

  • To place the parts correctly in the defined rack after the rework, ensuring they meet quality Standards and specifications. 

  • Continuously monitor and optimize rework processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and Ensure high-quality output. 

  • Use hand tools, power tools, or specialized equipment to rework the parts. 

  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area to prevent accidents, ensure operational efficiency, and support overall workplace safety 

 

Education:

Diploma or High School in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or industrial operations or equivalent. 

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of quality checking of skin part experience in the same field.
