Operator, Press Shop Rework
Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for inspecting, reworking defective or non-conforming sheet metal stamped parts, especially skin components, to meet quality standards and requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions.
Key Functional Responsibilities:

Examine/inspect incoming stamped parts from the press line operation for defects, damage, or non-conformities.

To identify and check parts with minor dent marks due to mishandling/transportation of the part, bur etc. and rework as per quality standard.

Determine the necessary rework operations to correct defects or damages.

To maintain good housekeeping / 5S activities around work.

Follow safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to hazardous material handling guidelines.

To place the parts correctly in the defined rack after the rework, ensuring they meet quality Standards and specifications.

Continuously monitor and optimize rework processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and Ensure high-quality output.

Use hand tools, power tools, or specialized equipment to rework the parts.

Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area to prevent accidents, ensure operational efficiency, and support overall workplace safety
Education:
Diploma or High School in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or industrial operations or equivalent.
Experience:

0-2 years of quality checking of skin part experience in the same field.
