Job Purpose

This role is responsible for applying basic electrical skills to support maintenance and installation tasks, help ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

 

Key Functional Responsibilities

  • Apply basic electrical skills to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems under supervision.
  • Check electrical systems during routine inspections to identify potential issues, reporting findings to senior staff.
  • Help diagnose electrical problems using standard diagnostic tools, performing basic repairs with guidance.
  • Set up new electrical equipment by following instructions and ensuring proper installation.
  • Keep simple records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status, ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Apply safety protocols and guidelines during electrical work, contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs by providing input and assisting with basic projects.

 

Education

Technical High School, or Diploma in Facilities Engineering, Engineering or any related field

 

Experience

2 years minimum experience in a similar field.
