Engineer, Corporate Facilities Maintenance
Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive facility safety and maintenance programs to
optimize performance, mitigate risks, and promote operational excellence. Utilizes cross-functional
initiatives to enhance facility reliability, sustainability, and resilience. Acts as a strategic partner, fostering
a positive safety culture and developing junior talent
Key Functional Responsibilities:
• Ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of corporate facility systems, including
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
· Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and
extend the lifespan of equipment and systems.
· Conduct detailed diagnostics to identify issues and implement timely repairs to maintain
operational efficiency.
· Analyse energy consumption patterns and recommend solutions to enhance energy efficiency and
reduce costs.
· Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all facility
operations.
· Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure maintenance services are delivered effectively
and align with organizational standards.
· Prepare and execute plans for facility-related emergencies, such as equipment failures or natural
disasters, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
· Create, review, and maintain detailed AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation to ensure
accurate facility layouts and support project planning and execution.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Engineering, Occupational Safety or equivalent fields
Experience:
• 3 years minimum of experience
