Job Purpose

This role is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive facility safety and maintenance programs to optimize performance, mitigate risks, and promote operational excellence. Utilizes cross-functional initiatives to enhance facility reliability, sustainability, and resilience. Acts as a strategic partner, fostering a positive safety culture and developing junior talent.

 

Job Role

Key Functional Responsibilities

  • implement, and continuously improve comprehensive facility safety and maintenance programs to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all facility systems and equipment.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all applicable safety, environmental, and building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure facility designs, modifications, and operational procedures adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive compliance registry, tracking changes in legislation and industry guidelines, and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review emergency response plans, ensuring facility readiness for potential crises and natural disasters.
  • Support and implement HSE standards and procedures, ensuring facilities comply with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.

 

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Engineering, Occupational Safety or equivalent fields

Experience
