Job Purpose
To architect and deliver Teamcenter solutions that support manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and PLM strategy.
Key Accountabilities:
- Define and support PLM solutions for Manufacturing domain
- Fitting business needs into PLM solution capabilities
- Collaborate with business for business process and requirements clarification
- Define technical specifications for implementations
- Check implementations result
- Configure PLM system according to business requirements (BMIDE, WFs, Teamcenter Configuration – preferences, access rules, etc.)
- Validate solution usage on business side (control that business follows IT recommendations)
- Collaborate with IT partners (Siemens and Siemens partners):
- Control solution definition created by partners
- Technical align and control partners solution proposals
- Supporting IT partners in collaboration with business
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Skills & Competencies:
- Automotive industry experience (General Assembly, Body In White, Press Shop). Manufacturing Process Planning.
- Understanding of typical automotive processes (manufacturing: MBOM, BOP) - Deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter (BMIDE, WFs, Access Rules, Stylesheets etc) both in Teamcenter Rich Client and Active workspace (EasyPlan).
- Deep expertise in multi-BOM management and alignment (EBOM -> MBOM -> BOP).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing related Quality solutions (Control Plan, Inspection Plan, pFMEA) .
- Experience in leading PLM implementation team.Issue solving skills: identification of the issue root cause, target solution, intermediate solution.
- Expertise in definition and formalization business process (BPMN or similar) - Understanding of downstream integrations (e.g., SAP. MES). - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent in English.
Minimum Experience
- 7+ years in PLM architecture roles, with 3+ years focused on engineering domains
- Work experience in Siemens, Siemens PLM partners or Automotive OEMs as benefit.
