Group Leader, Quality Confirmation
Operations Quality
Job Purpose
- Lead and execute Quality Confirmation activities in responsible area (General Assembly In-Process), ensuring adherence to quality standards, supporting project launches, optimizing resource allocation, and contributing to the department’s business plan deployment.
Key Functional Responsibilities
- Safety
- Responsible for implementing the Incident Reporting and Resolution Process for his/her team
- Follow all Site Safety Guidelines especially HV related guidelines
- Recognizes, communicates, and follows safe work practices as the highest priority and establishes guidelines for ergonomics, health/safety, and housekeeping
- People
- Develop Vacation Coverage Plan and back up strategy
- Ensure all administrative task associated with Team member supervision are complete and accurate
- Builds and maintains good working relationships with employees and management
- Quality
- Ensure that standardized work has been developed and followed for all quality confirmation activities
- Implement Quality Launch Activities according to project timing
- Implement Team member training process to improve inspectors’ capabilities
- Provides recognition for continuous improvement activities
- Empowers employees to continuously improve their work and supports them by managing and eliminating constraints
- Implementation of Lean manufacturing principle and Quality processes
- Train responsible Team member regarding the quality equipment
- Responsiveness
- Ensure timely quality feedback information is being provided by his/her team to production teams
- Audit quality process implementation with regular reviews on the shop floor
- Cost
- Ensure effective management of Team member attendance/Over Time tracking
- Supports the Quality organization on maximizing adding value, and waste reduction
- Support production in effective problem solving to reduce rework and scrap
- Environment
- Responsible for managing responsible area Headcount & Workplace organization according to 5S principles, ensuring an organized, efficient, and environmentally conscious workspace
Key Managerial Accountabilities
- Resource Management
- Establish Quality KPI (Shop FTQ, DRR and DRL) and drive Continuous Improvement
- Implementation of CMS (Ceer Manufacturing System)
Job Requirement
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Experience: Automotive/Manufacturing Experience preferred Min. 5 years
- Langauge: Fluent English
