Job Purpose

Lead & provide guidance to press line operators & rework process team, ensuring smooth & efficient

implementation of production processes while maintaining CEER's Manufacturing Operations Divisions’

standards.

This position will also provide process, technical support & guidance for the production teams to assure

business, objectives are met or exceeded in the areas of Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost &

Environmental initiatives.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • To monitor production, recording hourly performance in absolute detail of parts produced / good /scrap
  • /rework and downtime, for area of allocated responsibility.
  • To be the person responsible for deciding when to allow intervention to the production process working with maintenance / process techs / quality etc.
  • Monitor the operators work & the production processes activities to verify their adherence to quality
  • standards, efficiency objectives, & production timelines and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Assign manpower, material, & equipment resources wisely to effectively achieve production objectives &
  • ensure efficient utilization of resources to maintain efficient operations.
  • Support in troubleshooting technical or operational equipment malfunctions that may occur during the
  • production process as well as rework process.
  • Ensure that reworked products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of rework activities, including the nature of defects, corrective actions taken, and outcomes
  • Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance rework processes and reduce
  • defects
  • Responding promptly & efficiently to unforeseen circumstances, disruptions, or urgent events that may
  • occur during the shift that may impact production or the safety of Press shop operators.
  • To always ensure all technicians & operators personal wear appropriate PPE and observe health, safety & environmental requirements.
  • Represent CEER and protect its interests in various interactions and engagements and foster positive
  • relationships and promote collaboration with external entities such as clients, partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to advance CEER's goals and objectives.

 

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

Education & Certificates

  • 3 years Diploma (Full time) in mechanical/electrical engineering or any related field.
  • Strong communication skill of English in both Written and verbal.

Experience

  • Minimum relevant experience of 3 years in press shop as a supervisory role.
  • At least 5 years’ experience of automated press lines operating & knows rework procedure of A class skin part.
  • Demonstrable MS office ability.
