Job Purpose

The aftersales warranty manager will manage all aspects of warranty operations in Ceer starting from the strategy development to seamless execution in customer facing operations.  In his scope he will work with multiple stakeholders inside and outside Ceer to maintain effective and waste free warranty policy.  He will also seek continuous improvement in all warranty operations to provide the best customer experience

 

Job Role

Key Functional Responsibilities

  • Develop Ceer warranty policies and procedures to assure best efficiencies between customer/Ceer interest.
  • Design the required approvals matrix and controls to assure effectiveness of warranty operations.
  • Develop the required Good well and customer satisfaction policy.
  • Work with Quality/Engineering/legal organizations to assure the developed strategy matches legal requirements and design intent.
  • Develop and regularly update customer warranty published literature.
  • Work with IT and Finance to develop the IT systems required to support operations and minimize waste.
  • Overlook the warranty parts replacements, storage and return process to assure warranty parts analysis and countermeasures.
  • Assure all warranty practices in service outlets are adhering to policies and procedures through regular Audits.
  • Supervise and train warranty team and service personnel for the best adaptation of policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to service personnel regarding warranty operations.
  • Support the operation team in escalated customer warranty issues for resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate warranty coverage and claim procedures to customers through the proper channel
  • Prepare regular reports on warranty claim status, including analysis of claim trends.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on warranty data analysis.
  • Develop corresponding revenue/budget plan for his area
  • Recommend Warranty cost saving initiatives to eliminate waste and reduce warranty cost
  • Assure the achievement of the corresponding targets and KPIs of the division
  • Develop, coach, and engage a team that delivers on departmental objectives and vision
  • Assure the wellbeing and safety of operations in his area of scope
  • Develop the needed policies and procedure for functional operations

 

Job Requirements

Education

BSc in Engineering with relevant major

Experience

10+ years’ experience in warranty operations
