Manager, Plant Infrastructure

Lead the fitout of Infrastructure at the Ceer Manufacturing Plant.

Perform the day to day design, planning, deployment and commissioning of Global Ceer Infrastructure at the Plant.

Act as an escalation point in the event of underperforming applications and infrastructure.

Participate in CAB reviews (Change Management).

• Work closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing IT and the Infrastructure teams (Network, Hosting, EUC, Architecture and App Development) to understand what has to be delivered at the Manufacturing Plant and when
• Assist to review RFQ’s and RFP’s for vendors to execute the work at the Plant
• Manage vendors on site ensuring they know what they are doing, time frames and working safely
• Work with Civil Construction to align on when IT can access buildings and to plan when work needs to be completed
• Secure by Design
• Design/Develop user-focused solutions and strategy which interact effectively with one another and with the end user
• Design interfaces between infrastructure solutions
• Provide technical support and mentoring to the Ceer Infrastructure and Operations team
• Design and Build infrastructure solutions collaborating with specialist teams as required to get the best outcome for Ceer
• Champion creating proper documentation for “As designed” and “As deployed” solutions
• Design Network Solutions including firewalls, VoIP, Switching, Routing (Data Center, Building and Client), Wireless, SDWAN, OT (Operations Technology for manufacturing plants), 4G/5G, Microware, Fiber, copper, ACI, ISE, RADIUS, AD, AAD, MPLS, OSPF, BGP
• Familiar with HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure), Servers, Storage, On-Prem Compute, Cloud Solutions
• Work with and build good relationships with Internal customers to understand their requirements
• Develop and maintains technology service technical standards and process documents relating to Infrastructure services
• Participate in root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of action items affecting reliability of Ceer Application and Infrastructure services and reduction of failure rates and downtime of IT/OT services
• Analyse existing systems to ensure security and efficacy
• Recommend improvements or alternative technologies to better meet business needs
• Design, review and integrate Infrastructure for new systems
• Develop & Plan maintenance activities for Ceer Infrastructure hardware, and networks as needed
• Contribute to the Knowledge System and share knowledge within the first line support team
• Recommends Performance and Cost savings/efficiencies
• Proactive in learning and taking certifications
• Champion process automation, effective in writing scripts, using automation tools such as Ansible to speed up tasks and increase quality
• Able to write scripts in any of the following (powershell, Visual Basic, Javascript, Python, C#, HTML, HTML5, ASP)
• Collaborate with IT Architects for developing standards and solution consistency
