Product Marketing

Job PurposeThe Pricing Manager is responsible for the Pricing strategies for all CEER vehicles. He/she is the voice of the customer when it comes to assessing the price competitiveness of our Products, both vehicles and options.
Because pricing and sales volume are very tightly interconnected, the Pricing Manager is responsible for gathering both objective pricing and sales volume data from GCC market. He will regularly update the Management of the Industry performance, with comparison with previous months / years, and detailed analysis of losers / winners by segment.

Key Functional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with CEER stakeholders (Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Planning) to ensure pricing strategies will deliver the expected volume and profit.

• Articulate Price Positioning principle for each CEER vehicle on its given segment, based on Unique Value Proposition, direct competitors and market share ambition

• Continuously monitor the price movements and Industry evolution data for CEER and key competitors / formulate recommendations in case of deviation against strategic positioning.

• Interact with vendors contracted by CEER to provide Pricing market data• actively support preparation and approval of Business Plan updates (normally once a year, but ad-hoc requests can happen at any time).

•Be the guardian of the Customer Value Table and of all the retail prices of all CEER vehicles and options. Maintain PVA (Price Value Analysis) of CEER vehicles vs competitors (ICE and BEV).

• Develop grade walk proposal which motivates customers to upgrade their purchase.

• Monitor any major new vehicle launch, their price positioning, their results.

• Support Product Managers when they are asked to evaluate the customer value for features, give expert view when “customer willingness to pay” is discussed.

• Support Product Marketing Director with the preparation of Pricing or Industry materials presented at Product

 Key Managerial Accountabilities:

• Achieve the assigned objectives through the setting of individual objectives, managing performance, and developing and motivating staff.

• Participate in the development of the section’s business plans according to the department objectives.

• Ensure the effective implementation of policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned activities.

• Prepare the budget required from the section and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring unit activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.

• Manage the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering leading standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.•Ensure that all section reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet CEER’s requirements, policies, and quality standards.

• Ensure non-disclosure of confidential information within or outside CEER.• Ensure adherence to the Health, Safety, Security, Environment policies and standards across all business functions under the department.

Job Requirements:

Education:Bachelor`s or masters Experience:Minimum 6 years of experience, 2 years in a managerial role.
