If you are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and in the mid to senior level career stage with a background in SAP supply chain modules of MM, TM, BN4L, Ariba, EWM, PM, QM and HSE in a technical and functional capacity, we would like to hear from you.
Lead the SAP Supply Chain team responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP modules across procurement, logistics, material management, and warehouse operations. Ensure seamless integration between SAP and related systems (e.g., Teamcenter PLM, Opcenter MES), drive process efficiency, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. Strong technical and functional Knowledge of SAP MM, TM, BN4L, Ariba, EWM, PM, QM and HSE is a MUST. The ideal candidate will own to support the day-to-day SAP customer service to the above mentioned modules, work with the peers to plan TR movements, ensure high availability of the SAP systems, review ABAP code to ensure there is no source/base code changes and impact on version upgrades, ensure full compliance with Cyber Security standards in KSA, manage the team, and drive continuous improvements to deliver a streamlined user experience with WOW factor!
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and execute SAP Supply Chain roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of Assistant Managers and Specialists across SAP MM, TMS, Ariba, PM, EWM, QM, and HSE.
- Ensure functional integration between SAP modules and external systems (Opcenter MES, BN4L).
Solution Delivery & Optimization:
- Oversee design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Supply Chain solutions.
- Drive process improvements leveraging SAP best practices and clean core principles.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous system optimization.
- Work with functional peers to ensure higher level of system adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Finance, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to align SAP solutions with operational needs.
- Coordinate with IT architecture and BASIS teams for system performance and upgrades.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with SAP implementation partners and technology vendors.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Development & Implementation:
- Coordinate with developers, testers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist in the testing and validation to ensure they meet business requirements.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Promote clean core principles and minimize customizations to maintain upgrade readiness.
- Collaborate with functional and development teams to ensure technical alignment with business objectives.
Governance & Compliance:
- Lead and mentor SCM SAP team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLA compliance with outsourced services.
- Prepare and manage budgets for SAP SCM modules change requests and project tasks.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, audit requirements, and data integrity standards.
- Monitor and enforce segregation of duties and security roles within SAP SCM modules.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that solutions comply with internal policies, industry standards, and security protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all configurations, customizations, and processes for future reference and audit purposes.
Documentation & Training:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to internal IT end-users and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in SCM (Supply Chain Management), Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred.
Qualifications
- 15 to 20 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, TM, Ariba, EWM, PM, QM) with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and integration with manufacturing systems (e.g., Teamcenter PLM, Opcenter MES).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Good understanding of SAP compliance frameworks.
- Experience with system migrations, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications
- SAP Certifications in relevant modules (Highly Preferred):
- SAP Certified Application Associate – Materials Management (MM)
- SAP Certified Application Associate – Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- SAP Certified Application Associate – Transportation Management (TM)
- APICS Certification (Association for Supply Chain Management):
- Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- ITIL Foundation (preferred for process governance).
