Job Purpose
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing CEER’s enterprise‑wide risk management framework. The role ensures the proactive identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks. It also embeds a strong risk‑aware culture across the organization to support CEER’s strategic objectives and long‑term sustainability.
Key Functional Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve CEER’s enterprise‑wide risk management framework, methodologies, and tools across all business functions.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and monitor strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks, maintaining an up‑to‑date corporate risk register.
- Conduct enterprise‑level and functional risk assessments, including scenario analysis and stress testing, and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the development and execution of business continuity and crisis management plans to ensure organizational resilience and preparedness.
- Monitor risk exposure and the effectiveness of mitigation actions, providing timely and actionable risk reporting to senior management, the Risk Committee, and the Board.
- Collaborate with divisions and functions to embed risk management practices into operational processes, projects, and strategic planning activities.
- Ensure alignment with applicable regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, and industry best practices, including monitoring emerging and evolving risks.
- Promote a strong risk‑aware culture through training programs, awareness initiatives, and continuous improvement of risk management systems and processes.
- Ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls across all assigned activities.
- Contribute to budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring activities are conducted in line with approved financial guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices, considering leading standards, productivity improvements, and cost optimization.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports in compliance with CEER’s policies, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies across all relevant business functions.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
