Senior Specialist, EE - Offboard/Onboard
Direct Procurement - Electrics and Electronics
- Develop parts and softwares as per defined supplier strategy
- Analyze costs and negotiate suppliers and contracts
- Process quotations
- Perform accurate and timely supplier selection
- Achieve annual cost improvement
- Manage the commodity in the BOM to which the buyer is assigned by Commodity Leader
- Inquire, evaluate and select suppliers according to the approved supplier panel, specifications, quality expectations, and market competitiveness
- Effective supplier relationship management
- Evaluate and assess supplier’s quotations to ensure commercial, technical and quality requirements are achieved.
- Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments, and stakeholders
- Track and report savings
- Conduct other procurement related tasks, such as supplier registration, purchase orders, shipments and software release follow-up, as assigned.
Skill & Competencies
- Strong English language skills.
- Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of materials management
- Proficient with Microsoft office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience in SAP/Ariba system is an advantage
- Experience with Onboard and Offboard software is desirable.
- Ability to work globally, independently, and self-directed & Self Motivated.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement.
