Senior Specialist, Infrastructure Solutions

Perform the day to day planning for Infrastructure Projects.

Design Infrastructure Solutions with tower leads (Hosting, Network and End User Computing) and deploy the solutions on time, within budget and good quality.

Partner with finance and purchasing on raising PR’s ensuring PO’s go out. Build budgets and forecasts for Infrastructure. Review forecast and actual with the sub department leads.

• Secure by Design
• Design/Develop user-focused solutions and strategy which interact effectively with one another and with the end user aligned with Ceer standards and policies
• Design interfaces between infrastructure solutions
• Provide technical support and mentoring to the Ceer Infrastructure and Operations teams
• Conduct analysis to identify trends in Infrastructure architecture and apply them in solution development
• Design and Build infrastructure solutions collaborating with specialist teams as required to get the best outcome for Ceer
• Champion creating proper documentation for “As designed” and “As deployed” solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and how it is used to deliver solutions to end customers
• Familiarity with the Design Network Solutions including firewalls, VoIP, Switching, Routing, Wireless, SDWAN, OT (Operations Technology for manufacturing plants), 4G/5G, Microware, Fiber, copper, ACI, ISE, RADIUS, AD, AAD, MPLS, OSPF, BGP
• Familiar with HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure), Servers, Storage, On-Prem Compute, Cloud Solutions, Backup and Data Centers
• Familiar with End User Computing solutions covering Desktop, Tablets, Laptops, Graphics Design solutions, Printers, Screens etc
• Building Budgets for Infrastructure
• Track the Budgets, create forecasts and compare forecasts to actuals
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Work with and build good relationships with Internal customers to understand their requirements
• Contribute to the Knowledge System and share knowledge within the first line support team
• Recommends Cost savings/efficiencies
• Proactive in learning and taking certifications
• Be the primary contact for Infrastructure for solutions, implementation, status updates and escalation
• Assist the team to compile sensible project plans
• Push the team to complete work in line with the project plan
• Documenting and control versioning of IT processes and procedures.
• Create/track and report IT purchase requisition (PR), purchase order (PO), and vendor delivery status. 
• Creating and presenting IT project status and plans and conducting minutes of meetings (MoM).
• Analyze IT database, storage, and system performance to improve availability and capacity
• Act as an escalation for major outages to assist the Operations team to restore service as soon as possible
