Senior Specialist, NVH

Job Purpose

End to End owner for NVH Systems in Exteriors - Concept, Design & Development, simulated testing → tooling → DV/PV testing → SOP/launch — The role is responsible for delivering the design, engineering, and development of the CEER NVH Systems for Exteriors. This position will oversee research for advanced engineering solutions for future vehicles/programs, develop plans and design guidelines, and deliver the technical release for the systems. The role will work cross functionally with other departments where NVH Consultation is required.

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Delivery & timing control: Build the integrated plan, manage gateways and the critical path, run risk reviews, and drive recovery when needed.
• Open‑issues Management: Maintain Open Issues lists; run daily/weekly triage; provide concise status and go/no‑go calls.
• Requirements & specs: Translate attributes intent into Design Change Requests, fixing requirements, BOM, and DV&PV Tests, keep requirements traceable through iterations.
• Engineering & simulation: Ensure DFMEA, NVH targets, thermal paths, sealing/venting, tolerance stacks; plan and assess simulation before tooling.
• Supplier leadership: Manage Tier‑1/Tier‑2; own SOW/RFQ, design reviews, tooling kick‑offs, capacity readiness, Run@Rate.
• Tooling & industrialization: Track tool design and T1/T2/T3 samples, mold‑flow / DFM actions, process windows, readiness for DV/PV builds.
• Validation & compliance: Execute and track DV&PV (CAE, thermal, vibration, environmental, +++). Ensure timely execution / implementations for resolution.
• Configuration & releases: Manage ECRs, deviations/concessions, and releases.
• Check and advise on documents for documentation, development, and supplier onboarding, including specifications, DVPs, standards, SORs, RFQs, and DFMEA, to ensure clear communication and adherence to requirements.
• Builds & launch: Prototype cars/First build Proto/Non-Saleable/saleable/pre‑series builds, line trials, work instructions, and handover to plant and Aftersales.

Key Accountabilities

• Achieve the assigned objectives, managing performance.
• Participate in the development of the section’s business plans according to the department objectives.
• Ensure the effective implementation of policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned activities.
• Delivery to customer requirements with robust engineering.
• Ensure that reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet CEER’s requirements, policies, and quality standards.
• Ensure non-disclosure of confidential information within or outside CEER.
• Ensure adherence to the Health, Safety, Security, Environment policies and standards across all business functions under the department.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, NVH or equivalent experience. 
• Experience: Around 5 years of experience in NVH, Exterior Trim systems.
• Exceptional time management, project management, and open‑issues management. 
• Hands‑on ownership of: NVH within Exterior Trim Systems, willing to rotate across commodities.   
• Supplier leadership from early concept through tooling, DV/PV, and into production.
• Working knowledge of NVH regulations, standards and delivery.
• CAD - NX experience
• Willingness to travel to supplier, test and launch locations
• Strong written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus).
