Job Purpose:

As a Direct Procurement Finance Controller, you are responsible for supporting and monitoring the financial performance in line with the Procurement strategic frame.

As a business partner, you collaborate closely with the Direct Procurement division to provide insights that enable cost optimization and critical decision-making, always ensuring compliance in accordance with company’s standards.

The Direct Procurement Finance Controller role comprises of overseeing supplier performance and managing mass production BoM.

Job Role:

  • Develop analytical dashboards and data models to track procurement key-indicators (part price variance, supplier performance, strategic levers’ negotiation performance...) in partnership with procurement team.
  • Build automated analysis of pricing adjustments, both increases and reductions. Also build tools to track and simulate economic indicators within purchase scope to anticipate financial impact.
  • Design standardized and integrated reports aligned inside and outside finance, such as Direct Procurement team, Head of Controlling and FP&A.
  • Coordinate and respect deadlines for the financial reporting processes (Actual, Forecast, Budget and Business Plan costs), ensuring financial consistency between key indicators & financial reporting and ensuring correct cost classification in accounts.
  • Implement automated linkage from supplier negotiations to unitary vehicle cost impact.
  • Automate variance analysis reports against budget, prior year performance, latest forecast.
  • Ensure monthly mass production BoM’s robustness in respect to structure and cost.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University;
  • Bachelor’s degree on Engineering preferably;
  • MBA is a plus;
  • Advanced English speaking and written is a must.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years on Procurement Controlling,
  • Experience in consolidating internal indicators;
  • Experience with FP&A cycles (budget, forecast and actual results consolidation);
  • Hands-on ERP (SAP) implementation is a plus;
  • Experience in an international company is a plus.
