As a Senior Specialist, SAP Supply Chain MM-EWM, you will oversee the development, configuration, and optimization of SAP Advanced EWM to support manufacturing operations and supply chain initiatives. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP Advanced EWM, leadership in agile product delivery, and close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with business objectives. Knowledge of SAP EWM integrated with MM and TM modules is essential. The ideal candidate will own the product backlog, manage EWM integrations with SAP and MES, and drive continuous improvements to deliver a streamlined supply chain experience.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to SAP Advanced EWM.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
Solution Design & Implementation:
- Optimize business processes using a fit-to-standard approach and best practices.
- Engage with senior product owners and key stakeholders to prioritize requirements.
Backlog Management:
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog aligned with business goals.
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure readiness for development.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and feasibility.
Development & Agile Practices:
- Coordinate with developers, testers, and business teams for timely delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Test and validate EWM & MES integration solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Identify opportunities to streamline EWM processes and improve warehouse performance.
- Ensure JIT and JIS signals traffic between AGVs and SAP is functioning properly.
- Track KPIs defined by supply chain leadership.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular updates on product development progress and issues.
- Support training and documentation efforts for end-users.
Testing & Validation:
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and conduct UAT.
- Gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, industry standards, and security protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation for audit and future reference.
Documentation & Training:
- Develop and maintain system documentation and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
KPIs:
- Timely delivery of SAP EWM enhancements and projects.
- Reduction in operational downtime and warehouse inefficiencies.
- Improved user satisfaction and system adoption rates.
- Adherence to budget and project scope.
Job Requirements

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- SAP EWM certifications (preferred).

Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of SAP Advanced EWM functionalities (task interleaving, RF frameworks, resource management).
- Familiarity with ABAP for debugging and working with development teams.
- Experience with automation technologies and warehouse robotics (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Fiori apps related to EWM.

Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years in SAP EWM implementation, configuration, and support.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and supply chain operations.
- Experience integrating EWM with other SAP modules (TM, MM, SD) and external systems.
- Experience working with ABAP developers for customizations and technical integrations.

Certifications:
- SAP certifications in EWM and TM integration preferred.
- Agile or Scrum certification is a plus.
- APICS Supply Chain certification is a major plus but not required.
