Senior Specialist, Sustainability

Ecosystem Management and Sustainability

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of CEER’s internal and external sustainability communication strategies, sustainability engagement activities, and cross-divisional sustainability training initiatives. This role enables the Sustainability Club, and supports the Sustainability Function operations, drives awareness campaigns, and ensures alignment with CEER’s Sustainability goals and governance model.

 

Key Functional Responsibilities

  • Support the development of CEER’s sustainability narrative, key messages, and positioning in alignment with Vision 2030 and Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) priorities.
  • Help with developing and implementing sustainability communication strategies aligned with CEER’s brand and values.
  • Contribute to preparation of CEER’s annual sustainability report and other regulatory or stakeholder reporting requirements, including data gathering, narrative drafting, and alignment with global reporting frameworks (GRI, IFRS narrative sections).
  • Facilitate the Sustainability Club operations and pilot activities (e.g., clean-ups, tree planting, recycling tours).
  • Track Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) indicators across operations, ensuring the contribution to corporate sustainability goals.
  • Draft and manage content for internal newsletters, intranet, and external channels (e.g., LinkedIn, press releases), in coordination with Corporate Communications to ensure message alignment and visibility of sustainability milestones.
  • Support with the planning of community outreach and CSR initiatives aligned with CEER’s sustainability commitments (e.g., volunteer programs, school partnerships, community clean-ups).
  • Track KPIs for awareness campaigns, sustainability programs, and engagement initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver sustainability training modules for CEER employees and track participation and effectiveness to iterate based on feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Facilities, Strategy, Procurement, and Communications to embed sustainability values and activations across the organization.

 

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3 years minimum of relevant experience in sustainability communications, corporate sustainability, employee engagement.
