Specialist, QC Tech Support - Press, Body and Paint
Operations Quality
Job Purpose
- Lead and execute Quality Confirmation activities in regards to quality equipment in Press shop and Body shop, ensuring adherence to quality standards, supporting project launches, optimizing resource allocation, and contributing to the department’s business plan deployment.
Key Functional Responsibilities
- Safety
- Responsible for implementing the site HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) procedures including HV (High Voltage) requirements
- Recognizes, communicates, and follows safe work practices as the highest priority and establishes guidelines for ergonomics, health/safety, and housekeeping
- People
- Builds and maintains good working relationships with equipment providers and maintenance team
- Support Quality Confirmation Team in utilizing the Quality equipment effectively by providing guideline
- Quality
- Develop standardized work documents on utilization of the equipment in quality confirmation activities
- Implement Quality Launch Activities according to project timing
- Provide effective training for Team Leaders and Team Members to utilize equipment efficiently and safely
- Encourage equipment users to continuously improve their work and supports them by managing and eliminating constraints
- Implement upgrade/update of equipment hardware/software with support from equipment providers
- Monitor Quality equipment operating status (Performance, Uptime and etc)
- Implementation of Lean manufacturing principle and Quality processes
- Responsiveness
- Ensure timely feedback is being provided to equipment supplier (maintenance teams if required) in case of machine malfunction
- Implement regular calibration/verification of equipment
- Cost
- Ensure effective management equipment spare parts
- Supports the Quality organization on maximizing adding value, and waste reduction
- Support production in effective problem solving to reduce rework and scrap
- Environment
- Manage the workplace organization of the responsible area according to 5S principles, ensuring an organized, efficient, and environmentally conscious workspace
Key Managerial Accountabilities

- Ensure Quality equipment is operational and drive Continuous Improvement
- Implementation of CMS (Ceer Manufacturing System)
Job Requirement
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Experience:
- Automotive/Manufacturing Experience preferred Min. 5 years
- Hands on experience on Dimensional Equipment (CMM, Scanner and etc) and Software
- Langauge: Fluent English
