Specialist, Supply Chain Launch
To support the launch build phases and regular production by ensuring integrated process coordination whilst providing program status updates through participation in Supply Chain review meetings. This role involves delivering a Plan For Every Part (PFEP), material input and status updates on quality, readiness, and manufacturing in various meetings and reviews. It will require coordination of material deliverables, manage special build events, contribute to KPI and Scorecard achievement, plan and run the pilot store for handling pilot materials, create part lists by VIN or vehicle order number, and coordinate the collection and creation of bulk / single part kits across different production zones.
Key Functional Responsibilities
- Develop and implement material plans for pre-production, concurrent builds, and MVB phases, ensuring the availability of up-to-date parts, validating packaging and container processes, managing in-plant rework and scrap.
- Coordinate and monitor the Supply Chain Part Plan (Plan for every Part - PFEP) status to document and ensure the material flow for all parts related to the Launch build programs, including regular status reporting.
- Track and report part status throughout the program launch cycle, managing pre-production materials, facilitating material kitting, and overseeing packaging validation and in-plant rework activities.
- Develop and maintain material routing, footprint, and flow processes, supporting in-plant functional evaluation and manufacturing validation builds through to the Start of Regular Production (SORP).
- Collaborate with assembly personnel to determine the industrial mobile equipment needs, such as forklifts and tuggers, support the development of plant layout, focusing on material handling needs, Ceer Manufacturing System (CMS) strategy integration, and resolving logistical challenges to.ensure efficient plant operations.
- Analyze the impact of Manufacturing's sequencing and subassembly plans on Supply Chain, including evaluating costs through participation in business case analyses, supplier capability assessments, and specialized equipment requirements.
- Work with third-party managers and sequencing suppliers to define and implement plant processes and systems requirements, coordinating with central ME packaging and logistics teams.
