Storekeeper, Parts Warehouse
Job Purpose:
Receive, store, pick, and issue spare parts and accessories in the CEER parts warehouse, maintaining accurate stock records and a safe, organized storage environment to support timely parts availability for aftersales operations.
Key Functional Responsibilities:
Receiving & Put-away:
• Receive incoming parts shipments, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders/delivery notes, and report discrepancies or damage to the Parts Operations Asst. Manager.
• Bin and store parts in designated warehouse locations following CEER Warehouse & storage SOPs.
• Label and tag stock items using standard identification methods to ensure traceability.
Picking, Packing & Issuing:
• Pick parts against sales orders, repair orders, and internal requisitions accurately and within service-level timeframes.
• Pack and prepare parts for dispatch to service centers, dealers, or customers per CEER packaging standards.
• Issue parts to counter and service sales teams and obtain proper sign-off/documentation for each transaction.
Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counts:
• Perform regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock takes, reconciling system records (SAP) against physical stock.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies to the Parts Operations Asst. Manager.
• Flag slow-moving, excess, or obsolete stock items for review.
Warehouse Operations & Safety:
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts where certified) safely and in line with HSE procedures.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S/housekeeping standards.
• Support periodic warehouse audits and compliance checks.
System & Documentation:
• Record all stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustme
nts) in SAP/WMS accurately and on time.
• Maintain documentation for goods receipt notes, delivery notes, and stock adjustment forms.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or vocational/technical certificate; a diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, stock keeping, or parts logistics.
- Experience within an automotive Dealer/OEM parts environment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (SAP is a plus) and material handling equipment.
